J Gay Associates tailors our work to reach a variety of audiences – from civil society organizations to ministers of health and education, leaders in bilateral organizations, foundations, and UN agencies, and researchers.
Jill Gay is a US and EU citizen with over 20 years of experience in Africa, Asia and Latin America in international health and translating evidence into national level programs and policies. Some of her key accomplishments include the addition of evidence based interventions within national strategic health plans in numerous countries; authoring What Works for Women: Evidence for HIV/AIDS Interventions, a key resource for UNAIDS, GFTAM, USAID, and PEPFAR; and writing articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as JAIDS and Global Public Health.
She has worked as a consultant for the Board of the MacArthur Foundation, Open Society Foundations, Palladium and as a staff member of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences. She also served on the IRB of NIAID.
Provide technical assistance on a range of topics, such as gender mainstreaming to Ministries of Health and AIDS Commissions, as well as rights-based family planning for UN agencies.
Fluency in multiple languages (English, French, Spanish) enables J Gay Associates' global and regional work across Asia, Africa and Latin America.
